....................................... I HAVE SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES AND STYLES OF FUSE TO SELL IN SMALL QUANTITIES, BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL LISTINGS TO FIND YOURS . THIS INFORMATION IS TO BE USED AT YOUR OWN RISK, IT IS NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE A TECHNICIAN OR PROPER SAFETY PRACTICES. Typical fuse questions answered. You should never put a higher amperage fuse in place of another ( do not replace a 2A fuse with a 3A fuse). It is not recommended to replace a fuse with a lower voltage rating ( do not replace a 250V fuse with a 32V fuse) although it is perfectly acceptable to replace a low voltage fuse with a higher voltage fuse ( you can replace a 125V with a 250V). You can replace a time delay or 'slow-blow' with a normal or fast blow fuse without danger of circuit damage (although fuse may prematurely fail again). It is not recommended to replace a normal or fast blow fuse with a 'slow-blow' or time delay fuse, in some applications this may cause circuit damage. Identifying the proper size of fuse The most common Glass Cylinder Fuse is the 3AG (AGC) fuse measures 1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch long. The second most common Glass Cylinder Fuse style is the FM or Foreign Metric (also called GMA) fuse which measures 5MM diameter by 20MM (about 3/4 inch) long. There are many other sizes, some measuring as listed below: The 1AG (also called AGA) & SFE4 fuse measures 1/4 inch by 5/8 inch long. The 2AG Mini fuse measures 4.5MM diameter by 14.5MM (9/16 inch) long. The SFE6 fuse measures 1/4 inch diameter by 13/16 inch long. The 7AG & SFE7-1/2 & SFE9 fuse measure 1/4 inch by 7/8 to 15/16 inch long. The 8AG fuse measures 1/4 inch diameter by 1 inch long. The SFE14 fuse measures 1/4 inch diameter by 1-1/16 inch long. The 3AG (a.k.a. AGC) fuse is 1/4 inch diameter; supposed to be 1-1/4 inches long; (= 6MMx30MM). NOTE: Some import "3AG" fuses often are a little shorter than US brands like BUSS or LITTLEFUSE and may vary between 1-1/8 to 1-5/16 inch long. The SFE30 & 9AG fuse measures 1/4" diameter with a length of 1-7/16 inches. notes about fuse part number, styles, and types ABC Cooper Bussman fast acting ceramic 1/4" x 1-1/4" fuses ACC fuses - are AGC (3AG) fuses misread by people with poor lighting AGA Cooper Bussman (formerly known as 1AG) 1/4" x 5/8" glass fuses AGC Cooper Bussman fast acting 3AG glass 1/4" x 1-1/4" fuses GDA Cooper Bussman quick acting 5MM x 20MM ceramic fuses GDB Cooper Bussman quick acting 5MM x 20MM glass fuses GDC Cooper Bussman Time Lag =slow blow 5MM x 20MM glass fuses GMA Cooper Bussman fast acting 5MM x 20MM glass fuses GMC Cooper Bussman Time delay =slow blow 5MM x 20MM glass fuses GMD Cooper Bussman Time delay =slow blow 5MM x 20MM glass fuse MDA Cooper Bussman time delay =slow blow ceramic 1/4" x 1-1/4" fuses MDL Cooper Bussman time delay =slow blow glass 1/4" x 1-1/4" fuses MRF BELFUSE - radial lead micro type quick acting 250V fuses RST BELFUSE - radial lead micro type time lag 250V fuses MRT BELFUSE - radial lead micro type time lag 250V fuses 3AB Slo-Blo Littelfuse 326-series 1/4" x 1-1/4" ceramic fuses 3AG fast Littelfuse 311-series (125V) & 312-series (250V) 1/4" x 1-1/4" glass fuses 3AG Slo-Blo Littelfuse 313-series 1/4" x 1-1/4" glass fuses 5ET BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag 250V cartridge fuses 5ETP BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag axial lead pigtail 250V fuses 5HFP BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM quick acting axial lead pigtail 250V fuses 5HTP BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag axial lead pigtail 250V fuses 5STP BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag axial lead pigtail 250V fuses 5VT BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag 250V cartridge fuses 5VTP BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag axial lead pigtail 250V fuses 5SF BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM quick acting 250V cartridge fuses 5HT BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag 250V cartridge fuses 5ST BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM time lag 250V cartridge fuses 5HF BELFUSE - 5MM by 20MM quick acting 250V cartridge fuses 5SFP BELFUSE- 5MM by 20MM quick acting axial lead pigtail 250V fuses C1Q BELFUSE - very fast acting size 1206 chip type surface mount fuses C1S BELFUSE - slow blow size 1206 chip type surface mount fuses SST BELFUSE - slow blow square ceramic size 2410 surface mount fuses SSQ BELFUSE - fast acting square ceramic size 2410 surface mount fuses C2Q BELFUSE - very fast acting size 0603 chip type surface mount fuses SSTC BELFUSE - field replaceable size 2410 surface mount fuses 3SB BELFUSE - slow blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" glass cartridge fuses 3AB BELFUSE - fast blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" ceramic cartridge fuses 3SBP BELFUSE - slow blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" glass pigtail fuses GSAP BELFUSE - slow blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" ceramic pigtail fuses 3ABP BELFUSE - fast blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" ceramic pigtail fuses GSA BELFUSE - slow blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" ceramic cartridge fuses 3AP BELFUSE - fast blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" glass pigtail fuses 3AG BELFUSE - fast blow 1/4" by 1-1/4" glass cartridge fuses MQ BELFUSE - fast acting micro type axial lead 125V fuses MQ VISHAY slow blow axial lead micro fuse size like 1/4W resistor MS BELFUSE - slow blow micro type axial lead 125V fuses MS VISHAY quick acting axial lead micro fuses size like 1/4W resistor PICO-II axial-lead Littelfuse 251 series high-speed-action fuses size like 1/4W resistor RJS BELFUSE -telecom protection 4.6MM by 19.5MM radial lead 600V fuses 3JQ BELFUSE - fast acting 5MM by 15MM 2AG axial lead pigtail 350V fuses 3JS BELFUSE - slow blow 5MM by 15MM 2AG axial lead pigtail 350V fuses 2JS BELFUSE - slow blow 5MM by 15MM 2AG cartridge 350V fuses 2JQ BELFUSE - fast acting 5MM by 15MM 2AG cartridge 350V fuses MJS BELFUSE - lighting surge withstand 5MM by 15MM 2AG cartridge fuses 5MTP BELFUSE - medium blow 5MM by 20MM pigtail 250V fuses 5TT BELFUSE - slow blow 5MM by 20MM cartridge 250V fuses 5MT BELFUSE - medium blow 5MM by 20MM cartridge 250V fuses 5MF BELFUSE - fast blow 5MM by 20MM cartridge type 250V fuses 5TTP BELFUSE - slow blow 5MM by 20MM axial lead pigtail style fuses 5MFP BELFUSE -fast blow 5MM by 20MM axial lead pigtail style fuses I ALSO HAVE AN EXTENSIVE INVENTORY OF SEMICONDUCTORS FOR VARIOUS OEM HOME AUDIO MANUFACTURERS.
