Decorate your home with Quality hardwood switchplates. You will not be disappointed! This plate measures 5" tall x 6 7/8" wide x 1/4" thick. The Pictures are representative of wood type, email if you have a preference on color and grain or would like an actual picture of the plate you will receive. These are not mass produced, they are made one at a time. If it's not perfect it won't leave our shop! If you order more than one plate the orders are made from matching stock (same or similar board), the color, tone and grain can vary a lot between different trees of the same species. These switch plates and outlet covers are made in our shop in Libby, Montana. They are handcrafted one at a time from high quality solid dry hardwoods, (not plywood). All plates are sanded to a fine finish for finished and unfinished plates, unfinished plates are ready for your stain or finish. For finished plates they are sprayed with a high quality durable cabinet grade clear satin catalyzed sealer and lacquer to bring out the wood's natural beauty. The back side of the plate is milled to sit flush against your wall and fits your fixtures properly, unlike the thick plates you will find in the hardware stores that don't allow the fixtures to protrude far enough. There is also metal strips mounted on the backside of plates behind the mounting holes for additional support. See my about me page for further info on plate construction. We can make any type of switch or outlet plate that you may need in several wood types, if you don't see the wood type you want just email or call and we will try to get the wood you want. We can also make these switchplates oversized if you are needing to cover up miss-cut sheetrock etc., just email or call, we also can make these smaller or to fit where boxes are to close to molding.
