We took the Homelite A-03126 Electronic Voltage Regulator and added our own special touches to the design. The result is the Fort Rock A-03126 improved Electronic Voltage Regulator. This voltage regulator is a drop-in replacement for Homelite P/N's: A-18999-A,B,C&D, A06289 & A-03126. 1. The power capacitor is rated for a higher temperature and is of a higher value than the original unit for a longer life. 2. The FR-4 Printed Circuit Board features plated-through holes and extra thick copper traces (2 1/2 times thicker than the original design) for improved resistance to vibration and mechanical shock loads. 3. Single-turn adjustment pots are replaced by high-quality multi-turn pots for improved calibration results. 4. Higher-power IGBT Transistor for improved reliability. 5. Heat Sink on Power Transistor for improved reliability. 6. Higher-power Surge Supressor for improved reliability, longer life and greater resistance to voltage spikes. 7. 1000V Rectifiers used throughout the design for improved reliability. What's more, the only other source for this voltage regulator (ordertree.com) lists for more than $100 more than our board - AND IT DOES NOT INCORPORATE ANY OF THESE IMPROVEMENTS! Fits the following Homelite generator models: CG4300, CG4400, CG4800, CG5200, CG5800, CGE5800, CG6000, CGE6000, CG6300, CGE6300, 170R18, 172R24, 172B26, 176B40, 176B140, 176R42, 176R142, 178B48, 178B148, 178H148, 178V152, 180R62, 180R162, 180RIE62, 180H163, I80HIE63 and probably a few more models that we haven't discovered yet!
