This is a 30A fused PULL OUT DISCONNECT SWITCH. It is a fuse box to protect whatever it is hooked to. AND it has a simple "pull out" module inside to instantly turn off power for emergencies, or if you are doing repairs so the equipment cannot start up and hurt you. Typical uses are HVAC, hooking it to outside heat pumps. It can also be used to turn of equipment in shops (lathes, milling machines, etc.) Rated 3HP motors or less.
