CENTROID CNC CONTROL OPTION - Unlimited Part program size Centroid CNC controls are very usable with their standard software package. However, we do offer higher level software features developed for the advanced CNC machinist and programmer. These optional software features are available for use on all Centroid M series controls. Below, we offer examples of common ways that this option is used. Whether you machine one part at a time or thousands Centroid has developed many add on features to help speed the process. This option provides you with the ability to run a G-code program of any size. The standard program size without this option is 1 megabyte for Linux based controls and 640Kb for DOS based controls. For most applications the standard capacity is more than enough. Unlimited program size becomes useful for those who post out 3D surfaces from CAD CAM software, especially when very small point to point demensions are used. This option is included in the Digitizing package. How can I use this on my machine? No special instructions here If your programming methods create files sezes above the standard limit then this option will grow your current Centroid CNC control without having to replace the entire system. Many other controls are bound by their limits. Centroid flexability can keep you running smoothly for less. Each Centroid software option is fully documented in your programming manual. This feature requires software version ____ and higher to function.
