The leadscrew is paired with a specially designed anti-backlash friction nut, which provides excellent repeatability, typically less than ±2 microns (unloaded), and fast settling.
Crossed roller ways provide accurate linear motion, together with high load capacity and stiffness. Their operation is very similar to that of ball ways. Two V-ways replace the four ground rods, and a set of cylindrical rollers replace the steel balls. The resulting line contact provides a much higher load capacity than the four point contact of ball ways. The V-ways and rollers, which define the linear motion, are precision ground using tool steel hardened to Rockwell C 60-64. Due to the averaging characteristics of the line contact inherent in crossed roller ways, run-out in the motion of crossed roller ways is generally below that found in ball ways.

The 200RT Series Rotary Tables are designed for precise motor-driven rotary positioning and indexing. These tables are designed to function independently or in conjunction with linear tables used in the high precision and precision automation applications. Their low profile design minimizes stack height in multi-axis configurations and enables them to fit in many places where other motorized rotary devices cannot. There usage is in all industries where intermittent part indexing, part scanning, skew adjustment, or precise angular alignment is required. At the heart of these tables is a rugged main support bearing which is comprised of two preloaded angular contact bearing races. It is designed for high load capacity and smooth, flat rotary motion. The drive is a precision worm gear assembly which is preloaded to remove backlash. The top and base are constructed of high quality aluminum with an attractive black anodized finish. The top and bottom mounting surfaces are precision ground to assure flatness.

The MD10A microstepping motor driver modules are designed to run hybrid permanent magnet step motors. The MD10A can drive motors with current ratings between 0.75 and 7.2 amps per phase, while the MH10 can operate motors from 1.5 to 14 amps per phase. Motor current regulation is achieved by a high efficiency pulse width modulator (PWM) circuit using power MOSFETs. This results in a cooler running motor with less wasted energy.

Note: This model is no longer in production however the PC48 is compatible with the Command Syntax and has the same 80-Pin Connector.
Easily programmed with double character ASCII commands through an extensive command structure. These commands are combined into character strings to create sophisticated motion profiles. It includes a 200 command and parameter buffer for each axis and a command loop counter which allows multiple executions of any command string.
