This is the James Instruments, V-meter. It quantifies wood loss in wood poles and pilings. It comes with the black carrying case you see in the pictures, 3 low frequency transducers, cables owners manual and two reference manuals. I had 3 plexiglass tubes made to hold the units for salt water piling inspection. They are not needed for fresh water or dry land pole surveying although they are easier to handle than the bare transducers. I bought this new and have used it on many jobs. No longer into this kind of work so I'm selling it. It rented from James for $1000 a week last time I checked.
