Amphenol/Tyco 244271 VS-3 Picabond Tool Kit with 230971-1 Hand Tool and 679412-2 Crimp Height Gage Comes with what you see in the pictures. If you don't see it, you probably wont get it. Specifications are from Amphenol and may vary slightly due to upgrades, options, or revisions this unit may or may not have. The unit is pretty clean and has smooth crimping action however I do not have any test connectors to try. * Hand Tool Assembly, Part Number: 230971-1 * Crimp Height Gage, Part Number: 679412-2 * Carrying Case, Part Number: 229200-1 * Nylon Cord, Part Number: 230412-1 * Application and Maintenance Instruction Sheet The VS-3 Hand Tool Kit 244271-1 includes a standard VS-3 hand tool assembly, a crimp height gage, a black nylon cord, a repair tag, and a carrying case. The VS-3 hand tool is designed to join able conductors (wires) using the AMP PICABOND connectors (standard). The tool can be hand held or used in AMP Tool Holder 229755-1. The features of the hand tool and their functions are as follows: * Movable die (anvil) and two fixed dies (crimpers) - crimp the connectors. * Two wire supports - position and hold the wires in the crimpers. * Wire cutter - performs two functions. First, it locates the connector on the anvil, and second, it cuts excess wire during the crimp cycle. * Moving handle (with quick-take-up lever and CERTI-CRIMP ratchet) - pushes connector into crimping dies and ensures a highly uniform, finished connection every crimp cycle. * Fixed handle - provides support during crimp cycle and, when applicable, can be held securely in tool holder.
