Marlow 40mm peltier thermoelectric, quality made in USA. 4cm x 4cm x 4mm. They operate from 0 to 16.4 volts, from -40 to 85 degrees. Qmax is 78 watts. Apply voltage and one side gets hot the other side gets cold, reverse the polarity and the opposite happens. If properly heat-sank with a fan, it can freeze. The part has been tested for a year and should should function perfect for at least another 19 years; They are guarantied to work like new. Some may have some residual thermal grease still on them. The leads are about 1/2" long. * GENERATE ELECTRICITY (I got 360ma @1.5 volts with my copper heat sinks and thermal epoxy) * cool a cooler (this TE is 5 to 10 times more powerful than the TE's in the regular coolers) * also they can do a great job cooling your microprocessor * play with them, there are lots of applications. NOTE: Damage may occur if heat sinks are not used while applying voltage. The Marlow SP 2050 part that I sell is a custom part only because of the way it was wired(in series with others). Marlows DT12-8 is the exact same TE, so if you'd like a data sheet I can email you one or you can find it on their web sight. (all content is the responsibility of the poster) |
