Sharp Microwave Satellite Tuner This brand new BSFC77G74 unit made by Sharp measuring just 52mm by 44mm (not including F connector or pins) is perfect for receiving microwave signals in the 900-2000Mhz range. It can be used for a wide range of applications including A.T.V stations or high quality audio radio links. Sharp cans are renowed for there use in the electronics industry as the best microwave tuner you can use as they are very compact and require only a few extra components to make them work as a link receiver. The audio level retreived from the baseband is high quality and the high mV sound level means usually no op amp circuit is required to boost the sound to be fed into an amateur radio oscillator/exciter! A circuit is included when the unit is bought that will allow you to retreive audio out of the can when used in conjuntion with a l.n.b. Only 8 readily available components are needed to build a high quality link receiver! It is also worth noting that this can is very similar to the Sharp BSFH77G06 from eio.com which is popular with most amateur radio stations. The critical pins i.e 12v & 5V input, Tuning and Baseband Output are in exactly the same configuration as the BSFH77G06. So any circuits for the BSFH77G06 should work with this Can! Hurry!
