These were specifically designed to be side mounted and were carrying heavy pneumatic lines, but will work with most any type of wire in various configurations. These are the industrial way to route wires, hoses and other flexible media on moving automation equipment. With the mounts, there are two chain sections at 92" each or about 2337 mm per chain. Both sections are included. A cable chain can typically handle a travel distance about 1.5 times its own length. That being the case, each chain could handle a linear actuator with about a 12 foot travel or obviously can be split into sections for multiple smaller travel actuators. The chain includes two complete mounting sets. The chain has an outer diameter of 2.8" when rolled back on itself. This is an important specification when selecting a chain. Ideally, the distance from the moving mounting surface to the stationary mounting surface should be just above the minimum form radius of the chain (for most applications). The width and height of the chain is 147 mm and 83 mm respectively. This chain has cable isolation clips for separating pneumatic/hydraulic lines from electrical cables or high current cables from communications cables. Guaranteed not DOA.
