Line to ground: 600 V peak, Line to Line: 1200 V peak. 3 wire, 120 V each line to Neutral / 240 V Line to Line; Unit is mounted in a steel NEMA - 12 Enclosure, Class J (JHC-40), Dimensions: 12"H x 10"W x 5.5"Deep. It is designed to protect sensitive solid state equipment downline from high energy transients. State of the are equipment is more sensitive to transient damage. The 472 was designed by fusing the best features of two mature and proven technologies. The result is a product with the speed seen in the zener diode, or MOV technology, and the strength of the spark gap or gas tube. It is installled in a shunt configuration.
