Display and record temperature on your PC RAFTER - Temperature display and recording system A visual on-screen map displays and records a network of up to 15 sensors (upgradeable to 64). 1x TM015 Windows Vista/XP/2000 PC software on CD 1 x TSR digital thermometer RS232 network adapter and 2 x TS1 digital thermometer temperature sensor, (expandable to 15 sensors, upgradeable to 64 depending on cable length) Cable to connect the sensors back to the PC computer is not supplied. For connections under 30 metres you can use any 2 wire low capacitance cable. To extend the connection up to 100 metres you will need to use a twisted pair cable such as Cat-5. Connect the sensors in parallel back to the RS232 PC adapter and connect the adpater to a free communication port on the computer. Each sensor can be configured individually. The hard disk of the computer is used to record the temperature data so there is virtually no limit to the amount of data that can be recorded. * Monitoring room temperature. * Inside/Outside temperature recording. * Monitoring refrigeration equipment. Step 1 - Cable sensors to the RS232 adapter. Step 2 - Use supplied software to load your own temperature image map (or leave blank). Step 3 - Configure each sensor and select a file to record the sensor temperature data to. * Windows Vista/XP/2000 PC with RS232 port * Recording rate selectable from 1 minute to 255 minutes. * Displays and records temperature continuously while software is running. * Displays and records temperature continuously while computer and RAFTER software is running. * Maximum cable length is 100 metres. Maximum 64 sensors per cable depending on cable length. * .Software currently displays temperature in Celsius. Dates will be formatted according to custom of country. Any sensor that is recorded can have the temperature data graphed on screen and printed. . Any number of sensors can be graphed together on the same graph. The sample graph shows the outside temperature overlayed with the inside temperature of an office. Temperature graphs can be maximized to fill the screen. They are interactive so you simply move your mouse around the graph and the read out displays the exact date, time and temperature of the mouse position.
