The filter is a very efficient epi-illumination dichroic that reflects excitation at 400nm +-20nm at right angles to the incidence light, while transmitting nearly all of the Blue Green and Red. The filter makes a very good microscopy epi-illuminator for INDO or other near UV dyes, while transmitting the emission signals. filter specifications follow: Reflection bands 380 to 420nm, with average of 90%, Transmission bands 435 to 700+ nm, with an average of >95%, Size 26X36mm mm, Substate material is fused silica.
