Bulletin 700 Type R and RM contacts, at 120V AC, are capable of making 30A and breaking 3A control circuit loads which allows direct switching of all size Allen-Bradley Bulletin 509 starter coils. This is possible on the larger starters as they are switched by pilot relays supplied with the starters. The contacts can also switch low voltage, Each tungsten-tipped contact is hermetically sealed in a glass envelope containing a controlled gas atmosphere – providing excellent reliability for low voltage circuits. There is no moving armature to wear or stick. The only moving parts of this relay are the blades of the sealed switches and the indicator which have a long mechanical and electrical Coil windings and the hybrid rectifier circuit package are totally encapsulated. AC coils do not generate transients, no suppression is required. A surge suppressor for DC Bulletin 700 Type RM relay is a magnetic latching relay which has bi-stable contact cartridges. The coil module for Type RM contains two coil windings – one to latch the contacts and the other to reset the contacts. For proper operation of all contacts, the latch and reset signals should be applied for at least 75 milliseconds. (all content is the responsibility of the poster) |
