Here's a handy IC to have for lots of different remote control or decoder uses. These are new old stock MC 145436 Dtmf decoder ICs and they are getting hard to find. This IC comes in a 14 pin PDIP as pictured and is capable of decoding all 16 DTMF tones. These ICs are easy to put into operation and only require a colorburst 3.579545 or 3.58 MHZ crystal or resonator to function.
