It includes a PCB, Schematics, and all the electronic parts (no battery included) required to build an LM555 Surface Mount Technology (SMT)circuit in Monostable-Mode (One-Shot). This fun kit can be built and used as a project to drive an output relay, LEDs, a speaker, or other items. You get extra parts so that you can experiment to get the exact On-Off times you would like. It comes with a 60K Trimpot so variable times can be made. This is an excellent kit to learn and use the LM555 Timer IC. The Output (pin 3), Reset (pin 4) and Trigger (pin 2) pins are all available as I/O for external triggering and control. The PCB is small enough to use as part of your bench equipment or it can even fit inside robotic vehicles and such. It is 1.1" x 1.8". It requires a DC power source such as a battery, which is not included. Included is a 9V Battery Clip. You can use it to build numerous timing and audio circuits.
