Evaluation Kit for 1x9 fiber optic modules at 1.25 GBd HFBR/HFCT-53D5 Family - 1x9 Fiber Optic Transceivers for Gigabit Ethernet Technical Data The purpose of the HFBR-0535 1.25 GBd evaluation board is to provide the designer with a convenient means to test the 1-row-by-9-pins (1x9) multi-mode HFBR-53D5 and single-mode HFCT-53D5 fiber-optic transceivers. The main attributes of the HFBR- 0535 evaluation board are its ability to interface to various types of logic families (5 V PECL, 3.3 V PECL, -5.2 V ECL) or to test instrumentation (high-speed sampling oscilloscope or bit-errorratio tester) that has 50 Ohms to ground termination.
