This PT-357LB module is designed to drive 2 amp, one or two (two modules) DC Motors with or without a variable speed control input.
12VDC, 2 AMP MOTOR DRIVE MODULE
with LIMIT SWITCH BLOCKING DIODE

This board drives a 12VDC motor by the simple grounding of control input pins. Very low current switch contracts may be used or two open-collector outputs may be used as input to the board. A third PNP open collector input may be used to control the motor's speed.
There are three paralleled power and ground input connections to facilitate easy jumpering to another control module. Two of these power connector inputs have a speed control pin. An open-collector NPN chopped input or a PNP's emitter output may be used to vary the DC level above ground to control the motor's speed.
The left jumper shown above, switches between this open-collector speed control input and a constant ground return.
The right two jumpers are for azimith or elevation motor selection when using all five input pins with two of these boards.
The two 5 terminal connections shown are paralleled to simplify connection to the X or Y second motor. These ground to activate inputs draw just 16-32mA.
Each board uses ground and two other pins on the five pin connectors. These are jumpered on each board to use pins 2 and 3 or 4 & 5. For an X-Y TABLE (using two of these boards) the connector's label might read:
In a X-Y TABLE the limit switches would be placed on each end of travel of the two motors.
For a PAN AND TILT they may be labeled as:
In a PAN AND TILT the limit switches may be placed at the degree locations where you would like to limit travel.
