The MC-USB is a USB 2.0 interface adapter providing I2C communication, step/direction control and power to the MC433, MC433G, MM130 and MM133. Software is provided to create an I2C communication link with attached I2C devices. The MC-USB uses the FTDI FT245 USB chip so extensive driver support is available from FTDI for those users interested in developing custom applications on Win98, XP, Vista and Linux hosts. The MC-USB is intended to provide the primary communication link between the desktop and motion control devices. The MC-USB directly attaches to the MM130 microstepping driver board and the MM133 10A PWM driver board providing power, step/direction control and a communication link to set step mode, limit switch detection, etc. The MC-USB is compatible with the MC433, MC433G, MM130, MM133, SmartLCD, SmartJoyStick, LED48, LED8 and other I2C peripherials.
