Since the heat sink is a solid pure copper injected heat sink, it weighs 8 Ounces, and as you probably already know...no other element transfers heat to liquid as well as copper!!! The TE measures 4cm x 4cm x 4mm. They operate from 0 to 15 volts, from -40 to 85 degrees. Max Power is 127.5 watts. Apply voltage and one side gets hot the other side gets cold, reverse the polarity and the opposite happens. If properly “heat-sank†with a fan, it can freeze. The part has been tested for a year and should function perfect for at least another 19 years; they are guarantied to work like new. Some may have some residual thermal grease still on them. The leads are about 1/2" long. * GENERATE ELECTRICITY (I got 360ma @1.5 volts with my copper heat sinks and thermal epoxy) * cool a cooler (this TE is 5 to 10 times more powerful than the TE's in the regular coolers) * also they can do a great job cooling your microprocessor * play with them, there are lots of applications. NOTE: Damage may occur if heat sinks are not used while applying voltage. This combo will need a little cleaning and either some thermal grease or epoxy (not supplied) (all content is the responsibility of the poster) |
