This laser tube IS gas intact and will ionize with a power supply, but will not lase. The tube has mis-aligned mirrors. If you care to take the time and re-align the optics you'll have a nice100mW multiline argon laser! It could be fun to experiment with. The aproximate recycle value of it is $50 for the BeO laser core, $20 for the kovar mounts, copper heat sink fins and tungsten cathode, and about $100 for the Gold indium solder to braze the tube togther. That's $170.00 value in materials alone, but can be yours for as little as 9.95 delivered in the USA!
